Nestled just a short stroll from the historic Walled City, my recent stay at this B&B left me feeling somewhat let down. The location was the highlight - mere moments from treasures like the Museum of Free Derry and local eateries such as Saffron and the Ice Wharf. The charm faded quickly. The bathrooms were marred by black mold, and while the rooms boasted comfortable beds, the décor felt weary and outdated. Each morning promised a complimentary breakfast, but it often comprised cold croissants with a slice of ham and cheese. It felt basic at best. The common areas were lackluster, revealing cobwebs and stained furniture, which made me question its cleanliness. Kevin, the host, was friendly and readily available, adding a personal touch.
